On 11 October 2023 we held a pōwhiri at Te Āwhina Marae for the High Court Judge presiding over our case.

This is the first time on our journey that the Court has undertaken a visit of this nature, which took place to assist the Judge to decide the outcome of the case.

The pōwhiri was an historic and uplifting occasion for our community, one filled with hope that we may finally be nearing a resolution.
